What you need to know about Blaklader
Weve been making professional workwear since 1959. Today Blåkläder is one of Swedens leading producers of heavy working clothes.

Our goal is to manufacture products that make your work more comfortable, easier and safer. Clothing that can take a beating. We regularly test our raw materials to ensure excellent quality at all times. Our lab tests wear and tear, rip and pull resistance, colourfastness and shrinkage. We are certified according to the ISO 9001 quality management system and the ISO 14001 environmental management system. This means that we are constantly working to be as gentle on the environment as possible.

Every pocket, seam, button and fabric must be a beacon of functionality. With our own manufacturing and product development, we can guarantee function and quality down to the tiniest detail. Each garment is specially designed to meet the needs of every specific profession in terms of function and design. The right materials and the right pockets give you more safety and efficiency in your work. To make our products last longer, we buy fabrics, threads and zips from the worlds foremost suppliers. Having our own production gives us better control of quality. Some one million garments leave our factories each year.

Lifetime warranty on the stitches.
Blåkläder is the only workwear manufacturer that offers a lifetime warranty on its seams. Professional staff and modern equipment make this warranty possible. If a seam splits, as long as it has not been torn by sharp edges or tools, we will repair or replace the garment. We consider a garments life span to be up until it has holes worn in it or is otherwise no longer useful.

Ten of the best X – high octane T-shirt design

workwear t-shirts peterboroughAnother mad week at Howsafe ends with a rather spectacular trip in a 500bhp Subaru belonging to Paul Apethorpe  who is taking part in “Ten of the best X” -

TOTB X is a Japanese performance car competition to find the best all round car in Europe – handling, top speed and quarter mile tests are used to determine the outcome – local racers Paul and Clive (700bhp Subaru) will be competing at TOTB X at Elvington near York at the end of this month – Paul and MD of Howsafe Clark Howe are pictured with the part sponsor provided shirts (Bright Green Detailing, Sycecs and Atomic Energy Drinks) – good luck to the guys.

The shirts had four logo’s – the printed logo’s on the back of the garments were applied using the full colour printing process which gives razor sharp detail and vivid colours.

The TOTB X Team Subaru design on the front was applied using a two stage single colour application process using white and silver colours.

The result is a superb looking T-shirt that Howsafe was proud to supply and Team Subaru are delighted to wear.

Many people believe cotton to be the ideal first layer against the body when selecting clothing for work or play. Cotton may very well be comfortable next to the skin but the trouble is it holds more moisture than polyester garments and takes much longer to dry out than polyester.

Using materials developed in sports wear these great looking garments feature Just Cool’s own Neoteric™ textured fabric with inherent wickability. This material breathes and allows less moisture soak than equivalent cotton or poly/cotton garments.

Not only are these garments superb to wear in the warmer months they can be comfortably worn all year around – they also take embroidered logo’s extremely well and have a smarter corporate appearance due to the material finish and the colouring process.

Howsafe are stocking these moisture wicking polo shirts in navy blue, black and heather grey – available to order are 13 other colours and matching vests and T-shirts.
