With thirty years now under our belt and three successful business moves we know a thing or two about supplying workwear, embroidered and printed clothing, cleaning supplies and safety equipment. The business is run by Clark son of the founder Mike Howe who started the business in 1978. Despite the tough economy Howsafe is performing well – for you this means you can rest assured that you are dealing with a company that can fully service your requirements.

BEST PRICE POLICY: Howsafe work closely with it’s trade customers to ensure that they are receiving great prices, the products on this website are based on a retail customer buying one of our items when collected through our showroom. TWO – BIG – BUT NOT TOO BIG

Howsafe carries huge amounts of stock in one location, the stock is situated within three adjoining  industrial units in the heart of the industrial area in Peterborough. Being the size we are allows us to buy quality products at the best prices – on the flip side we are not too large a company and can easily nip into the warehouse to check stock to give you a definitive answer on stock availability.  The bottom line is we offer a personal service and that you get your orders faster.

With a total of 15,000 plus square feet of storage area we can supply most stock lines straight off the shelf.

Howsafe has not only earned great customer loyalty with over 1000 happy trade customers serviced monthly, but also employee loyalty too. Our ranks our filled with long term team members with decades of experience between them. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff are the driving force behind our business.

There are nineteen full time staff employed, a quick tally up reveals well over 200 years worth of service.

The Howsafe online shop is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is linked dynamically to our HQ meaning that all incoming orders are dealt with the same priority as those received by phone, fax, email or post.

FIVE – RETAIL SHOWROOM

The Howsafe HQ in Peterborough boasts one of the most impressive showrooms of its type in the country. With the style and air-conditioned of a high street store, the Showroom is open to trade and retail customers alike and home to a wide choice of products. Located conveniently on the fringes of the city centre with easy access from all road routes (see homepage for map), it also has dedicated parking to make your visit as hassle-free as possible.

The showroom is packed full of the coolest workwear and safety gear ready to be tried on at your leisure. Howsafe are specialist stockists of Snickers Workwear, Blaklader Workwear, Helly Hansen Workwear, Regatta Corporate, Cofra Safety Footwear, Portwest Clothing and the list goes on and on. You will also find all you need to keep your work place or home clean such as paper rolls, toilet paper, hand towels, chemicals, soaps, mops, buckets etc.

The showroom is open Monday to Friday 7:30-5:30 and on Saturday mornings from 9:00-1:00.

SIX – DEDICATED ACCOUNT MANAGER & MOBILE SHOPS

If your business is located within a 25 mile radius of Peterborough you can take advantage of our industry-unique Mobile Showroom service. With vehicles kitted-out with a range of commonly purchased products our sales team is able to supply, demonstrate and fit your workforce on your own doorstep to save you time and money.

Your Account Managers job is to make your life easy – they will handle all size exchanges, returns, deliveries, product quotes and product demonstrations. This method of trading saves you all the hassles of dealing with our competitors who use a courier service for their deliveries.

Howsafe use on-site, state-of-the-art embroidery and printing machinery to provide a superb finish to all logo’s. TEN – COFRA SAFETY FOOTWEAR

Howsafe are one of the largest stockists of COFRA Safety Footwear in the UK. As a specialist in the supply of protective footwear we have offered the Cofra range for many years and over this time the shoes and boots have proved themselves to offer the best combination of durability, comfort and price. The Cofra product offers a higher specification as standard than the majority of safety footwear in the market place today. High slip resistant soles (SRC), APT material type under foot protection, Composite or aluminium toecaps and high quality foot beds are common throughout the range – even the lower priced products.

In the Howsafe Workwear Store our safety footwear is laid out in pairs, therefore making selection much easier for you, we stock over 80 different styles, all of which are available from our website and from our Showroom.
