As we reflect on 2024, it has been a year filled with mixed emotions. On one hand, we celebrated the well-earned retirements of two remarkable colleagues, David and Paul, who together dedicated nearly 60 years to helping build Howsafe into the company it is today. Their contributions have left an indelible mark, and while their departures are bittersweet, we wish them every happiness in the next chapters of their lives.

From a business perspective, it’s fair to say that 2024 has been a challenging year for many. Conversations with fellow business owners echo the same themes: slow sales and cautious market confidence. At Howsafe, while we aren’t breaking records, we’re holding our own and staying proactive. We’ve introduced an array of new products—many with a focus on eco-friendly solutions—and expanded our services to better meet your needs.

One of the highlights of the year was a significant investment in our print department. Early in 2024, we introduced state-of-the-art Mimaki DTF printing machinery, which has elevated the quality, finish, and efficiency of our printed garments. In addition, our website has undergone significant improvements across nearly every area, with even more enhancements planned for 2025.

We were also thrilled to end the year on a high note by winning the Best Newcomer Award at the prestigious Investors in the Environment (iiE) Awards. This recognition reflects our commitment to sustainable practices, and it’s an achievement we’re incredibly proud of as we move forward.

A word of gratitude to you, our customers. Your trust in Howsafe is the foundation of our business, and we never take that for granted. Our goal has always been to put your needs first, to get it right the first time, every time—and when we don’t, to make it right as quickly as possible. It’s a commitment we will carry forward.
