December/January Newsletter

Seasonal Updates, Smart Kit Choices & Community Spirit

Our final newsletter of the year brings together everything that makes the Howsafe community special: dependable service, practical safety essentials, and a heartfelt connection to the people and places we serve. The December–January edition is now available to download, and here’s a quick look at what’s inside.

A Message of Thanks from Clark Howe

This combined issue opens with a warm note from our Managing Director, Clark Howe, reflecting on a challenging year for many businesses and the trust our customers continue to place in us. Clark reaffirms the Howsafe commitment to being a steady, reliable partner as we move into 2026—always ready to help keep your teams safe and equipped.

You’ll also find our holiday closing dates, including advice on ordering ahead and a direct line for urgent enquiries over the Christmas shutdown.

Product Spotlight: Regatta Strategic Softshell Trouser

If cold weather is starting to bite, our featured product may be just what your team needs. The Regatta Strategic Softshell Trouser is highlighted this month—a robust, warm-backed winter trouser with Cordura kneepad pockets, holster pockets, and plenty of storage. Available in 30"–40" waist, they’re built for comfort and durability in tough weather.

Environmental Innovation from COFRA

Sustainability is a priority for many of our customers, and we’re proud to share positive news from COFRA. Thanks to major investment in cutting-edge recycling machinery, they can now recycle 100% of their sole production waste—a huge step forward in environmental responsibility and waste reduction.

This “Full Circle” feature offers a glimpse into the future of greener manufacturing and why we continue to partner with brands pushing for meaningful change.

Community Appreciation: Celebrating Mark Fishpool

One of our favourite stories this issue is our tribute to Mark Fishpool, founder of the Pride in Our Community Association. You’ve probably seen him around Peterborough, hi-vis on and litter picker in hand, helping keep our city clean.

We were honoured to support Mark’s volunteer efforts with free hi-vis clothing, helping him stay safe while making a difference all year round. His energy—and the work of groups like the Litter Wombles—deserves every bit of recognition.

New Product: All-in-One First Aid Station Flight Case

Also featured is our impressive new First Aid Station flight case—a fully equipped, mobile first aid unit with:

  • Working tap and sink

  • Mirror, lighting & towel dispenser

  • Five labelled sliding drawers

  • Cupboard storage

  • Locking castors

  • Customisable text for drawer labels

It’s a smart, self-contained solution for worksites, events, and facilities that need reliable, easy-access first aid provision. Expect a 7–10 working day turnaround.

Pack Deals: Premium Gloves at Outstanding Value

We’ve scanned the market so you don’t have to. This issue highlights dozens of new glove pack deals and bulk buy options—carefully price-checked to ensure outstanding value without compromising on quality.
