We’re delighted to be featured in the newly published 2024 Impact Report from PECT (Peterborough Environment City Trust) – a brilliant recognition of our ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.

As a family-run business based right here in Peterborough, we joined PECT’s Investors in the Environment (iiE) scheme in December 2023 with a simple goal: to formalise our environmental efforts and put sustainability at the heart of everything we do. Just a few months later, we’re proud to say we’ve been awarded Best Newcomer (SME) for 2024.

The report highlights the work we’ve done to embed a structured Environmental Management System (EMS), establish green procurement and waste management policies, and reduce our energy and resource use. From internal staff updates and eco-labelling in-store, to championing greener practices throughout our operations, it’s been a rewarding journey.

We’d like to thank Stuart Dawks and the fantastic team at PECT for their support and vision. Their leadership has helped businesses across our region take positive steps towards a more sustainable future. The 2024 Impact Report showcases the breadth of this work – from energy-saving initiatives and tree planting to green education and circular economy projects – and we’re proud to play our part.
